So Spring is here. You’re excited. It’s time to frock up and heel up for the first time in months. But after a winter hibernation what’s a girl to wear? First things first – heels are a must for Spring Racing and of course that means Insolia All Day Heels.

After all, you don’t want to be walking home with your heels in your hands do you? Comfortable high heels are your best friend for a long day at the track but you don’t want to sacrifice your style so make sure you nab some Insolia All Day Heels then rest easy and plan the rest of your wardrobe!

So what should you wear for Spring Racing? Let’s look at a few of the trends

1. The Shoes – Chunky High Heels

Yes Insolia All Day Heels can help but if you start with a comfortable shoe in the first place you’re already ahead of the game so we here at Yaya and Sky always love when wedges or chunky heels come into fashion and this season they are. One of our favourite brands is Campers as they are always so unique and pretty but also comfortable. These two styles are tried and tested and we can assure you that with the additional of some Insolia All Day Heels you will be guaranteed to party the day and night away without a care

2. The outfit – Floral Romper

We’re a little obsessed with rompers at the moment. Worn correctly they can really make a statement but you need to choose carefully as it can be a little too casual for Spring Racing. Anything too fitted can look cheap (we’re looking at you Jessica Simpson!)

How to not wear a romper – sorry Jess, but you can do better.

You also need to be careful of anything baggy around the waist or you could look like a preschooler about to embark on a finger painting expedition. Case in point.

Cute for a teensy young thing but nor for Spring Racing

And if you’re worried about being too curvy to wear a romper, don’t be. It can be super flattering if you know how to rock it. To play it safe keep the waist cinched and the rest flowing. And it’s also best to have either arms or legs covered. For Spring Racing we suggest get your pins out! We’re LOVING this gorgeous floral romper from Merritt Charles. Plus it teams up the floral trend as well.

3. Headwear – perch it

And what about the all important hat? Well this season it seems perches are replacing fascinators. What’s a percher? It’s a headpiece that perches just above your eye like this. We love.

A percher is so much ore elegant that the ubiquitous fascinator.
